COVID INFORMATION

XLSIOR MYKONOS has shown great growth in the past 10 years due to the incredible support and understanding of our fans. Covid is the greatest challenge of our recent history, but as always, our goal is to prevail and send a positive message of hope to all our colleagues, friends, fellow festivals and most importantly our fans! And the most positive message we can send is pretty simple: XLSIOR MYKONOS is happening this year!

Thanks to successful mass vaccination programme and significantly decreased number of new Covid cases Greek government and Crisis Response Team announced plans for country to fully reopen and get back to normalcy by 15 July.

The XLSIOR  team will be following the current situation of the pandemic closely, always keeping in mind the safety and health of all visitors, artists and team members which is paramount. The event will be organized , following all health and government guidelines.

DATES

We are more than confident about our current dates, so the festival will take place between 18-25 August 2021. In the unlikely case of having to postpone the event due to a sudden change of the Covid situation across Europe, we will give you more options.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES AT THE FESTIVAL

All health and safety measures for entering the festival, as well as for staying inside the festival site, will be defined by the Government of Greece and the Crisis Response Team. Our task will be to fully implement the prescribed measures and make our festival 100% safe.

All valid measures will be published within COVID Information here on the official website of the XLSIOR festival.

TICKETING OPTIONS

Your ticket will stay valid even in the unlikely case of having to change the date of our event. In case the new date is not acceptable for you for any reasons, you can choose Keeping your ticket for 2022.

Again, we are very confident about our current dates, so – unless dramatic changes of the pandemic situation occur – the festival will take place between 18-25 August 2021.

FAQ

If you have further questions, please also read our detailed FAQ below:

CAPACITY

Based on the current government guidelines for COVID 19, the audience will be in groups of 6 people sitted on a table. If you wish your table to be only with your friends make sure you complete a booking of 6 people. The above can be changed based on the guidelines in effect at the time of the festival

SAFETY MEASURES

All protection measures within the festival site will be defined by the Government Greece and the Crisis Response Team, and our task will be to fully implement them in order to make festival 100% safe for visitors, contractors and staff.

All prescribed measures will be presented in detail closer to the festival, and will be available within COVID Information here on the official website of the XLSIOR festival.

XLSIOR, together with Greek goverment, follows all protocols in line with the latest scientific studies conducted at several European test events that have shown that in the event of restrictions on admission to concerts and festivals to those vaccinated, who have undergone Covid-19, or who show a negative result on the covid test, the risk of spreading the infection is almost negligible.

The difference between visitors from Greece and abroad is that foreign visitors first pass the border check, which is one form of testing more than the hosts. As for their entry into the festival, the same measures will apply as for domestic visitors.

Customers are required to carry either Vaccinaton certificate or a certificate of a negative RT-PCR test result ( 72 hours prior)  to be allowed by the event organizers to collect their entry Pass. The certificates should be written in English and bear the name and passport/national ID number of the Pass-holder.

Unfortunately we dont have this capability. Most of our clients are flying from Mykonos or Athens that there are multiple ways to make tests.
